Bowman Law Welcomes EJ Palka to the Team

We’re excited to introduce EJ Palka, a dedicated and compassionate Paralegal who has recently joined the team at Bowman Law.

EJ is a proud Colorado native, born and raised in Colorado Springs, where she grew up as the fourth of eight children in a military family. Her journey has taken her around the world and through several meaningful careers — all of which help shape her unique perspective and deep commitment to helping injury victims.

After graduating from high school, EJ attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins for Early Childhood Education. Her sense of adventure then led her to Berlin, Germany, where she taught English and served as Head of Education for a language school. This experience broadened her worldview and cultural fluency.

When EJ returned to Colorado in 2020, she shifted her focus to health and healing, becoming a licensed Neuromuscular Therapist and working in chiropractic care. During this time, she developed a deep understanding and empathy for people suffering from injuries, particularly those sustained in motor vehicle collisions.

Her own experience in a motor vehicle collision in 2022 with an uninsured motorist fundamentally changed her career path. After recovering from her injuries, EJ chose to pursue a career in the legal field, bringing her firsthand insight and compassion to the work she does for clients. Since entering the legal world, she’s gained valuable experience in personal injury and bad faith insurance claims, and even spent time on the defense side, giving her a well-rounded perspective on how insurance claims are evaluated.

EJ thrives on working closely with clients during challenging times, helping them navigate the legal process and pursue fair resolutions after traumatic events. Her empathy, combined with real-world experience on both sides of insurance claims, makes her a valuable addition to our team.

When she’s not supporting clients or diving into casework, EJ loves taking advantage of Colorado’s great outdoors — whether she’s skiing, paddleboarding, camping, or hiking up 14ers. She also enjoys spending time at home with her three dogs, cheering on the Broncos, hanging out with her nieces, and working on her latest crochet project.
